Middle Earth & Mail

I received a Christmas card from my New Zealand publisher, Hachette NZ, and this was the postmark on it. I thought it was pretty neat to get something from Middle Earth. What's the most interesting place from which you've ever received mail or e-mail?

Rock Hard Cover Reveal & Review Signup

Rock Hard releases March 10th next year. Here's the blurb if you missed it:

In New York Times Bestselling author Nalini Singh’s newest contemporary romance, passion ignites between a gorgeous, sinfully sexy man who built himself up from nothing and a shy woman who has a terrible secret in her past…

Wealthy businessman Gabriel Bishop rules the boardroom with the same determination and ruthlessness that made him a rock star on the rugby field. He knows what he wants, and he’ll go after it no-holds-barred.

And what he wants is Charlotte Baird.

Charlotte knows she’s a mouse. Emotionally scarred and painfully shy, she just wants to do her job and remain as invisible as possible. But the new CEO—a brilliant, broad-shouldered T-Rex of a man who growls and storms through the office, leaving carnage in his wake—clearly has other plans. Plans that may be equal parts business and bedroom.

If Charlotte intends to survive this battle of wits and hearts, the mouse will have to learn to wrangle the T-Rex. Game on.

Short excerpt available on the website - longer excerpt to come!

Cover Reveal and/or Review Copy Signup

**Please note: review copies will not go out until approximately February 2015**

1. If you'd like to participate in the cover reveal for Rock Hard and/or would like to request a review copy, please fill out this form.

2. Review copies will also be available via NetGalley - I'll announce when that's available.

3. If you have an issue with the signup form, or if I've sent you a review copy and/or cover reveal info directly before, please feel free to email me (nalinisinghwritesATgmailDOTcom).

I'm just keeping a list for now, so I may not respond until the cover reveal information packet/review copy is ready to be sent out.

4. If you review only on Amazon and would like to request a review copy, email me directly (nalinisinghwritesATgmailDOTcom). Please include a link to your Amazon profile or to some of your previous reviews in your request.

5. Review copy approval will depend on the number of requests.

I think that's it! Let me know if you have any questions. :)

I can't wait for you to read Charlotte and Gabriel's story. It's a romantic book with a wicked sense of humor to it, courtesy of the two leads, both of whom I adore.

Spammers

Some of you have probably noticed that the blog comments have been hit by spammers. *Grr* I'm putting comments on moderation to see if we can shoo them away and get back to regular posting! (So just give us time to approve comments). :-)

Shards of Hope & Rock Hard

I emerge!! SHARDS OF HOPE is on its way to my editor. It's a *ahem* big book, but I should've expected that, given the fact it's the end of one story arc and the beginning of the next.

Also, I absolutely did not want to shortchange the romance - so there's tons of romance as well as tons of other cool stuff, none of which I wanted to edit out. (I even snuck in a gorgeous romantic scene that might not be *strictly* necessary, but that I think is necessary for the heart). :-)

This afternoon, I start work on the copy edited manuscript of ROCK HARD. Charlie-mouse vs T-Rex - who wants to call the winner? ;-)

I thought I'd put up the Friday Book Club while I'm having lunch. What are you reading and loving this week?

p.s. I won't be online much over the weekend, as it's all systems go on Shards of Hope. :-)

I'm a bit scarce on the blog at the moment as I'm concentrating on finishing Shards of Hope. Talk amongst yourselves! Seen anything interesting online lately? :-)
