Friday Book Club

The Friday Book Club is now open! What are you reading and loving at the moment?

I've been on a historical kick and really need to post about some of the wonderful books I've recently devoured, including Blame It On Bath by Caroline Linden. If you like marriage of convenience stories, this is a great one!

Just discovered and read Delicate Freakin´Flower by Eve Langlais (steamy.... very steamy and a lot of fun). So, instead of climbing the "To be read mountain" I went on with book two of the Freakin´Shifters series Jealous And Freakn`- As much fun as book 1.....

I recently discovered a self published author, Kristen Ashley, who writes amazing alpha male dominated stories with serious bang for your buck (these books are looong!), her books sell for about $4 on kindle. Her best that I've read so far is "Sweet Dreams", oh to meet a man like Tate!

Earlier this week I read Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall and it was a waste of time and money for me. I did finish it, but I won't be reading anymore of her books. I felt as if it was just a redo of JR Ward and Sherrilyn Kenyon's worlds. And it completely went through the 4th wall.

On the other hand, I just read The Duke of Shadows by Meredith Duran - LOVED it. Amazing writer, I can't belieive I haven't read her books before. Am now going back to glom all of her books. *Highly recommend*

I started reading CELEBRITY IN DEATH.
But got so distracted. It didn't seem to hold my attention as totally as always.

I'll try again later.

I'm thinking of the Psy-Changelings a lot.
Maybe in preparation for TANGLE OF NEED. LOL

I didn't notice this earlier
while reading Kiss of Snow.
But now it surprised me. A LOT.
Walker didn't seem to suffer any dissonance while he was WITH LARA. ??? No excruciating pains???
Am I right?

Why not?

I'm curious because I always believe that there can NEVER be any passionate LOVE STORY for TWO Psy. :(

But after checking out the Jane's theory that you've kindly linked for us. THANK YOU.
It seems very possible that
KALEB'S HEA could be Psy?

LOL I'm just thinking out loud here.

!!!! May 29th!!!! Can't wait!!

I've been reading Susan Mallory's Fool's Gold (Just finished book 5, Montana's story, which was finally a good one!) and I'm up to book 4, Heartless, in the Parasol Protectorate by Gail Carringer. I'm disappointed in this one so far. Both series are hit and miss, sadly. I'm going to have to find a guaranteed-I'll-love-it just to cheer myself up, which means rereading Nalini or Kresley Cole :)
